Mobile advice service

Our mobile service is designed to provide advice to clients onsite at day centres, GP surgeries or anywhere else where there is a need for an advice service with insufficient space or office equipment for confidential interviews and advice.

The mobile service works from a specially adapted van with two interview rooms, which is parked onsite during advice sessions.

At present the mobile service operates one session every week at St Wilfrid’s Centre, 524 Queens Rd Sheffield S2 4DT. This service is for people using the centre only. Availability is advertised at St Wilfrid's with an up-to-date diary of session dates and times on display at the centre and the centre operates a booking system.

Appointments only advice service

Available at the both inpatient sites based at Michael Carlisle and Longley Centres.  Priority will be given to inpatients.

GP surgeries advice service

Available for people registered at the surgery only.  Ask the surgery receptionist to book you an appointment to see one of our advice workers.

Advice via email

We currently do not have the resources available to provide advice via email.

Home visits

We will do home visits only when there isn't an alternative and we have advisers available.

Speaking your language

We can involve an interpreter or signer. Just let us know your particular needs and we will do our best to help.
