Tackling inequalities

Our service tackles health inequalities by targeting the most vulnerable within the mental health community and those least able to express their needs.  We prioritise people in hospital and people with enduring mental health problems in the community.

We understand that people want continuity and to be properly listened to.  Most of the people we work with have continuing and complex needs; short term, tick box interventions are not effective in supporting them to move on.  The most lasting gains for individuals are as a result of sustained, sensitive and appropriate support and advice.
